I was only able to volunteer on one field trip this school year. Alina and I went with Michael's morning kindergarten class to Oxbow Park which has a little zoo with only animals found in Minnesota. Alina has never been there before and totally enjoyed herself! Despite the rain, we got to see quite a few animals. Our favorites were the HUGE turkey who made himself known every 5 minutes and the teeny tiny owl that we saw in the Oxbow classroom.
